From sign-up to your first action — in under five minutes.

Step by step

1. Create your account

  1. Go to app.ropelogix.com/register.
  2. Choose whether you are registering as an Abseiler (individual tech or sole trader) or a Business (company with a crew).
  3. Fill in your name and — if you are an abseiler — your IRATA level and number (optional at this stage).
  4. On the final screen, enter your personal email address (not a work address — why this matters), set a password, and pick a plan.

2. Set your sign-off PIN

On first login you will be prompted to create a 4-digit sign-off PIN before you can access any other screen. This PIN is required to sign SWMS, pre-starts, and logbook attestations — keep it somewhere you will remember.

You can change your PIN any time from Settings → Sign-off PIN. (More about sign-off PINs →)

3. Fill in your profile

Head to Profile (accessible via the More menu on mobile, or directly at app.ropelogix.com/profile) and review:

  • Your full legal name (this appears on your logbook)
  • Your IRATA membership number and level — already saved if you entered them during sign-up
  • Your cert expiry date — add this so the expiry-alert emails reach you in time

4. Take your first action

  • Technicians: Tap Log hours on your dashboard. Step-by-step guide →
  • Supervisors: Tap Jobs → New Job to create your first job, then open the SWMS tab on that job to draft a SWMS. How it works →
  • Admins: Go to Team and tap Invite member to add your first crew member. Full guide →
Joining an existing company? You'll receive an invitation email from your admin. Click the link, set your password, and you'll land in their workspace automatically — no need to pick a plan yourself.
