Account and billing
Change your password, update your IRATA number, switch plan, or cancel.
Account settings
Go to Profile (accessible via the More menu on mobile, or directly at app.ropelogix.com/profile) to manage:
- ●Password — scroll to Change Password on your Profile page, enter your current password, then set a new one.
- ●Email address — email address changes are not self-serve. To change your login email, contact [email protected] — we will verify your identity and update the address manually. If you are currently using a work address, do this before you change jobs.
- ●Full name — appears on all your logbook entries and signed documents. Use your legal name.
- ●IRATA membership number — update this if your number changes at reassessment.
- ●IRATA level — update after a reassessment. Note: this does not retroactively change any signed entries.
Belonging to more than one organisation
One person, one logbook — but you can be a member of more than one organisation at a time. Common examples: you sole-trade and also pick up shifts with a labour-hire crew, or you work for two different rope access companies seasonally.
Each membership is separate. Roles, jobs, SWMS access, and credential visibility are scoped to whichever organisation you're currently working in. Your logbook is the only thing that follows you across — entries from every employer all live in the one personal record.
If you only belong to one org: you log in and go straight to your dashboard. No picker, no switcher.
If you belong to two or more orgs:
- ●At login, you'll see a picker showing each organisation you're a member of, plus your role at each. Choose the one you're working in for this session.
- ●Once inside, the org name appears in the top bar. Tap it to open the organisation switcher and jump to a different membership without logging out.
- ●Logbook view always shows everything you've ever logged, across every org and every period of employment. The current org filter only affects job lists, SWMS, and team views.
Joining a new organisation: there are two paths — wait for an admin at the new company to invite you by your personal email, or find the company in the public directory and tap Request to join. To search the directory, go to Profile → Organisation → Find an organisation, or ask your admin to invite you directly by email. The admin gets a notification and approves or declines.
Leaving an organisation: ask the admin to deactivate your membership. Your past logbook entries from that org stay intact — they remain signed, sealed, and visible in your record. The membership row simply becomes inactive; you'll no longer see jobs or SWMS scoped to that org.
Billing and plan
Go to Billing (accessible via More → Billing — admins only) to:
- ●View current plan — see which plan your organisation is on.
- ●Upgrade plan — moving from Starter to Professional takes effect immediately via the checkout flow.
- ●Downgrade plan — self-serve downgrades are not currently supported. Email [email protected] to request a downgrade.
- ●Payment method and invoices — managed via the Paddle billing portal. Contact [email protected] for access.
- ●Transfer logbook — changing employer? Transfer your complete IRATA logbook history to your new organisation via the Logbook Portability section.
Cancelling
To cancel your plan, email [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you won't be charged again, and you keep access until then.
After cancellation, your account reverts to Personal (free). Your data — logbook entries, credentials, documents — is retained. Nothing is deleted unless you explicitly request account deletion.
